Description of the 1800 Series:

The Druck 1800 Series of Submersible Pressure Sensors are fully submersible high performance pressure sensors for measurement of hydrostatic liquid levels. An advanced micro-machined silicon piezo-resistive pressure sensor provides excellent performance and resistance to shock and vibration. Contained in a slim-line (0.69 inches in diameter) welded titanium body, it is terminated in an injection molded cable assembly. Constructed of all-welded titanium, these sensors are backed by a 5-year corrosion warranty. Their small size is ideal for municipal water supply wells, leachate wells, irrigation projects, canals, rivers, seawater and other similar applications.

All of the 1800 Series Submersible Pressure Sensors offer two levels of accuracy, depending on your needs: ±0.10% BSL and optional ±0.06% BSL (±0.08% FS BSL max. for 1 mH2O and below).

Cable Types:

There are two types of high integrity, waterproof cables available with the 1800 Series Submersible Pressure Sensors:

  1. A tough, vented polyurethane cable (PTX 1830, PTX 1835, and PDCR 1830)
  2. An equally robust vented Hytrel® 6108 hydrocarbon-resistant cable (PTX 1840, PTX1845, and PDCR 1840)

Both cable types are strengthened with Kevlar so that there is no measurable elongation when the cable is lowered into deep wells. Depending on your application, cable lengths for either the polyurethane or Hytrel cables are available at lengths ranging from 3 feet up to 2,300 feet H2O (1 to 700 meters H2O). The first 3 feet (1 meter) are included as standard; lengths beyond that are extra.
