Ashcroft1279DiaphragmSeals
A diaphragm seal is a contraption that is attached to the inlet connection of a pressure sensor or instrument to isolate it from the process media, usually some type of fluid. The area between the diaphragm and the pressure sensing element is filled with a particular liquid, call the fill fluid. Displacement of the diaphragm compresses the fill fluid, which transmits the pressure changes to the pressure sensor.
