  • The table below lists all of the gases detected, with the sensor characteristics for each. If some of the gas types appear multiple times, look closely. The sensor specification differs in some way, such as the min/max span, or the sensor response time. 
  • The SenSmart 1000, 5000 and 6000 Series accept all of the sensor types that RC Systems offers:  Catalytic Bead (CB), Electro-Chemical (EC), Infrared (IR), and Photo-Ionization-Detector (PID).  
  • When configuring your 1000, 5000 or 6000 Series Gas Detector with SensorPros online you will be able to choose which sensor type for a particular gas you want, based on your application.  The table below is only a partial list of the gases detected.  If a gas is not listed, please call us and we will help you find a solution.
