With a high-precision piezoresistive silicon sensor enclosed in a 304 stainless steel housing, the Tek-Sub 4800B offers accurate and reliable level measurement in a wide range of applications. The sensor ships with either polyurethane or PTFE (Teflon) cable molded to the sensor housing, including a ventilation tube that automatically compensates for changes in atmospheric pressure above the tank. It is manufactured with lightning and surge protection, holding up well in adverse and extreme conditions. The device has no moving parts and offers long-term service with virtually no maintenance required. The Tek-Sub 4800B is powered by a 12 – 36 V DC supply, providing an output signal of 4 – 20 mA, 0.5-4.5 DC, or RS-485.
