About Pressure Controllers
PACE Pressure Controllers - Overview
Pressure controllers are electronic instruments that automatically provide precise pressure within seconds based upon the supply pressure, which is nominally 15% above the full-scale output range of the controller. The source pressure is typically a nitrogen bottle supplied by industrial gas suppliers. Clean, dry air systems are not recommended because of the possibility of contamination (moisture, dusts particles, etc.) that could clog the internal control valves of the instrument.
Pressure Controllers are a great fit for many applications due to the high accuracy and control stability of the pressures they output and control.
Typical Applications:
1) PRODUCTION LINES
- For product lines, the automatic testing and/or calibration of all types of pressure sensors is a typical application. The customer typically writes their custom software to perform the test functions in their custom automated calibration system. Please reference the excellent white paper published by Druck:
2) CALIBRATION LABS AND MANUFACTURING COMPANIES
- Calibration labs and manufacturing companies that require calibrations as part of their internal operations use a pressure controller with asset management software provided by the manufacturer, which is the ticket to success. Please reference the following data sheet:
