EE1950 Dew Point Measurement Module for High Humidity - DESCRIPTION

EE1950 Dew Point Measurement Module for High Humidity - DESCRIPTION
by E+E Elektronik

The EE1950 Dew Point Measurement Module for High Humidity utilizes a heated humidity and temperature sensing element manufactured by E+E Elektronik, the HMC01. It has excellent long term stability, and together with an external temperature sensor, the dew point module accurately calculates the relative humidity under continuous high humidity conditions.

E+E has developed a proprietary sensor coating that protects it from dust, dirt, and corrosive contamination. The EE1950 performs reliably under adverse conditions, as a result.  In addition, the Automatic Sensor ReCovery (ARC) is a function within the sensor module that allows the sensor to perform well, even when encountering chemical contamination. It controls the heating of the sensor so that chemicals will remove themselves from the sensing element.

The EE1950 analog output can be set to current loop (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA) or various voltages (0-5 Vdc, 0-10 Vdc). There is a digital interface, and with the use of the free EE-PCS configuration software, this allows for the configuration of the outputs, scaling, and more.

Finally, there are two sizes of EE1950 electronics boards, allowing for easy integration into existing climate and test chambers.
