PTX1290 Submersible Wastewater Pressure Transmitter - DESCRIPTION (DISCONTINUED)

PTX1290 Submersible Wastewater Pressure Transmitter - DESCRIPTION (DISCONTINUED)
by Druck

The PTX1290 Waste Water Submersible Pressure transmitter (4-20 mA output) is specifically designed for applications such as wastewater sludge ponds, wastewater pump/lift stations, freshwater applications with plant growth or salt marshes with debris. The all-titanium construction of the PTX1290 is designed to withstand the most hostile environments and is backed by a 5-year corrosion warranty.

The PTX 1290 Series pressure transmitter technology is based on Druck’s field proven submersible sensors, with the exception of the pressure port, which is equipped with a flush PTFE-coated elastomeric diaphragm that reduces the likelihood of grease or biosolids buildup.

Pressure ranges available are from 0 to 45 feet of water. The Druck PTX1290 transmitters offer two levels of accuracy, depending on your needs: ±0.25% and ±0.10% (Optional, coming late 2015).

An advanced micro-machined silicon piezo-resistive pressure sensor provides excellent performance and resistance to shock and vibration. A tough, vented polyurethane cable is molded to the transducer body, providing a high-integrity, waterproof assembly. The cable is strengthened with Kevlar® so that there is no measurable elongation when the cable is stretched into position. The cable lengths are available at lengths ranging from 3 feet (included) up to hundreds of feet, depending on your application.

The fully isolated, all-titanium design ensures long-term reliable measurements in water and wastewater management, industrial, process, and marine applications.
